Qualifications : 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English, Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology).
Physical Eligibility :
- Height (For Male) : Min 152.5 cms.
- Height (For Female): Min 152 cms.
- For Candidates belonging to North East or Hilly Regions of Uttarakhand, a lower Min. Height is 147 cms.
- In case of Candidates from Lakshadweep, the Min. Height will be 150 cms.
- Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
- Chest (Both Male & Female): Min. expansion of 05 cms.
- Hearing: Should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 06 meters by each ear separately.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Visual Standards :
- Visual Acuity : 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye
- Max limits of Refractive error : Hypermetropia:+2.0D Myopia: 1D including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism
- Colour Vision : CP-II
Age Limit :
- Candidate Should be born between 27 June 2002 to 27 December 2005 (both dates inclusive).
- In Case a Candidate clears all stages of selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on the date of Enrolment Should be 21 years.

Schedule For JEE Advanced :
Age Limit :
Born on or after October 1, 1998.
Five yrs. age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD, i.e. these should have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
Number of Attempts :
A Candidate Can Attempt JEE (Advanced) max. of Two Times in Two Consecutive Years.
Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) Exam :
A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) Exam for the first time in either 2022 or 2023 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Earlier Admission at IITs :
A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past. Candidates whose admission to IITs was cancelled (for whatever reason) after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2023.
Candidates who have been admitted to a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2022 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023.
